The purpose of this sculpture is to highlight the process of creation. The earth tones skeins of yarn are the raw materials interwoven into a cocoon shaped as a woman and as an infinity logo, symbolizing our constant growth. The yarn forms the hair and blends into the nipple of the needle-felted breast, embodying our humanity. The vibrant trims intertwine and materialize into the final end product, creating the fabric of our life. To enhance man made fabrication, the fabric may be fed through the textile machine from the Art Factory if available.
The sculpture will be hung by a single silver lining trim from the ceiling representing our lifeline.
