This sculpture is made from various materials to create contrast and motion among the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. The earth and fire are needle-felted to give emphasis to their raw, malleable texture as the earth paves our physical world and fire burns with desire in our spiritual realm. The water engulfing humanity with human experiences is made out of papier-mâché, painted and glossed in layers to show its dichotomy of transparency and depth. The air is made out of hot glue gun swirls lifting our spirit and carrying us through our life. These are sought elements of creation. It will be displayed by the Infinity sculpture as it embodies the artist at work.
